Musical Theatre Group
This program incorporates dance movement, musicality, voice exercises and singing to your favorite Broadway hits. This program is wonderful for the "outgoing" child and has also proven to be helpful to the child who is rather shy in nature. In an effort to enhance the level of performance in this venue, Musical Theatre Group students are required to take a tap and jazz dance class per week in order to develop as a total performer.
This program has been designed to help your child develop a polished presence,
and manner in order to present a winning Pageant image. The consistency of
weekly coaching sessions helps to develop greater confidence and poise, improve posture and walking, and to enhance social and dining skills. This class is taught
by Miss Jackie who is a former Miss New Jersey Pageant winner. Girls can take
classes alone or add on private lessons and work towards competing in local pageants
and work up to enter into Miss Teen NJ, then Miss New Jersey.
TDH Dance Company
(Audition required) Within the Dance Team Program, we believe that competitions are an integral part of becoming a well-rounded dancer. Competitive dance gives students the opportunity to experience rigorous training for an event, perform as a team, and be critiqued and judged by a panel of professionals. Additionally, being involved in competitions undoubtedly gives students an edge with their performance abilities and makes their on-stage performances all the more exciting. Company members are required to take 2 Ballet, 1 Jazz and 1 Tap per week at a minimum and the requirement then inreases upon age/skill level.
